The Foundations of Capability course comes bundled with the CMMI Associate Exam.
The Foundations of Capability course is usually purchased with the Building Development or Services Excellence course (or both of the Excellence courses). The Foundations of Capability and one of the Building Excellence Courses is required for anyone who is going to serve on an appraisal as an Appraisal Team Member (ATM). Building Development Excellence is needed for ATMs serving on a Development Appraisal. Building Service Excellence is needed for ATMs serving on a Service Appraisal. Passing the CMMI Associate Exam is also required to become an ATM.
